Microcosmic Inside the Australian Landscape
I decided to explore the limits of glass.
The diverse range of the Australian landscape has inspired a body of work based on my abstraction of the environment.
The concept is one of whole environments and physical structure, to look deeply into the elements of which they are comprised.
The result is a fusion and juxtaposition of colour, reminiscent of the Australian environment.
It is a personal and emotive response to the beauty, resilience and the vulnerability of our Australian landscape.
Note: I have deliberately not named the individual pieces, as each observer will find a different connotation for each landscape.
