ABOUT GARETH STEHR
Hailing from Norfolk Island and growing up in Howick, Auckland, Gareth Stehr moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a professional skateboarder as a young adult.
In Los Angeles he progressed his talent for producing bold artworks and began showing at local galleries while developing himself as a fine artist.
Currently based in LA, Gareth has exhibited internationally and continues to develop his unique style through experimentation and exposure to a creative environment that feeds his imagination.
Gareth’s style is constantly evolving while he experiments with different mediums and taking control of its direction. From building his own panels to looking toward contemporary sculpture and currently perfecting his technique of abstract figurative works, he is exploring the abstraction of modern beauty in a digital world.
Gareth's work is unpredictable, thought provoking, vibrant and intelligent. He has an entirely different 'point of view' and a passion for life and art that shines through in every piece.
