Artist Story behind this piece:
Oh dear, ‘Huddle and Cuddle’ everyone!
‘Pippy Long Stocking’ has fallen from blocks, now she lays with ‘Goldilocks’.
A Plunket book and gummy beads, a silver baby cup. A future artist’s baby pic with wand there for good luck.
‘Lewis the Lion’ looks all forlorn, but ‘Sparkle Bunny’ saves the day and soon he’s on his way.
Mane blows as ‘Stormy’ shows, where ‘Schubert’ takes the reins. For help flows through his veins.
‘Jersey Bear’ in fear and despair, as ‘Dumbo’ plants sucky kiss upon his cheek and ‘Father Ted’ in his tie, who couldn’t tell a lie, holds ‘Baby Bunny’ in search of honey.
A world apart is ‘Brillo Bear’, and ‘Pink the Pig’ sits tall. They see the sky is blue and so does ‘Birdie’ too. A plan is hatched, the door unlatched, the sky is all so new.
In the middle, the ‘Circus Horse’ eyes a ‘Golden Apple’. The time is right, he sees tonight and goes in for a bite!
A tender touch from ‘Tony Sloth’, a loving smile of grief and gratitude, his arm extends for ‘Care Bear’, whose world descends, as does her ear.
Above this mayhem, ‘Rabbit’ sits. He’s made of rags and riches to come, but now he feels a little glum.
