Fine Art Photography by Helmut Hirler - The Magic of the Invisible:
Incredible black and white photographic images of our environment produced using a technique that utilises the invisible light known as infrared.
A filter is used to block out the visible light spectrum - the photographer can see nothing at all when taking the image and therefore the results are only seen when developing the film. This technique creates an 'other-worldly' result - living plants are transformed into much brighter shades, even into tones of white.
Size: 182 x 59cm
Medium: Extreme high quality black and white photographic image mounted vertically on aluminium - ready to hang.
