Artist Profile.
John Lancashire was born in England in 1962, immigrating to Australia (Sydney) in 1970 and moved to Napier in 2001.
At the moment John is focusing on painting in oils. He has had formal training and studied at the Univeristy of Western Sydney and The National School of Fine Arts. (Sydney) His work is represented in collections both in New Zealand and Australia. John has had his work selected for the Hawkes Bay Review on two occasions.
He has been painting for about 10 years, yet he considers himself to be at the very beginning of his career as a painter.
